Boys in fiesta costumes, Taos, New Mexico, July 1940. Held in late July, the Fiestas de Taos is a community celebration honoring the two patron saints of Taos, Santa Ana and Santiago (Saint Anne and Saint James.) Taos Fiestas is a time for locals to put aside their labor for two days and bask in the leisure of the holy days.
