The people of New Mexico's 19 Pueblos carry on their traditions in ceremonial dances, several of which are open to the public. A strict protocol of behavior is in effect at these important religious ceremonies, which honor spirits and call upon them for help and guidance. The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center provides information to the public about lifestyles, history, and visitations to the Pueblos.
